Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Location: IIT Main Campus, Galvin Library, Library Learning Center

Time: Thursdays,  6:25 - 9:05 pm  [January 19, 2007   to May 4, 2007 ]

Course Details: This course will teach geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) skills and concepts useful to students and faculty in engineering, architecture, business and many other disciplines. Students will create, edit, display, query and analyze geographic and tabular data using ArcGIS 9.1 and other GIS software applications. Concepts will be applied in semester-end student projects.
